Hi, Steve
I have two of the Astron SS-30M units. One is very quiet, while the
other one generates enough RF hash to be extremely annoying. The noisy
one is one of the newer units with illuminated meters, and somewhere
around here I have a weblink that shows how to cure it.

Try replacing "410" with "409-signed" and see if that works. Otherwise, it

someone here knows what I'm doing wrong in trying to download VAC 4.09. I paid
to download the software and got the confirming email but the link goes to a
download of version 4.10. When I type in the url substitu
Looks like 4.09 signed is still there. I get a not found trying to download
unsigned 4.09.
Just paste your private link into the address bar and replace /vac410full.zip
with /vac409full_signed.zip.

I believe you can contact the creator who will include the "downgrade" to 4.09
after paying for 4.10

Hi Paul,
I believe that the 3D Connexion devices such as the Space Navigator will
do this since PSDR has the plugin built in. The downside is that you can
only use the 3D Connexion device with programs that support the plugin
such as Google earth. You cannot use it to control general programs like

If you want the Griffen Powermate seetings to work without SDR being the
focus, I think you need to modify the "Global" setting in the Powermate
editor. I have not tried this, but I know the difault global settings are
like "system volume" up and down. They will always work.

Hi Tim & all,
There actually is a standard for data called VITA-49 but we do not have to
use it of course.
FWIW I'll be adding my own I/Q over IP protocol (packet format) for the
SDR-RADIO console starting tomorrow, this console & digital software will
support both receivers and transceivers.
