I was calling CQ in the FP Run for the Bacon and one station had my signal on 7042 AND 7041 PLUS 7043 . Flex 1500 here. Why wide and what might be a cure ? I was on 7042 and the 2 others were quite a bit weaker but still audible. 73 George , N2JNZ ___

Biggest problem I had on a laptop is latency CPU was a dual core with no problems ... also L3 cache must be the most you can get for the money. My HP laptop ran at about , on average , 200uS latency which is not good. I'm running a K3NA computer from Neil now and latency is below 12

First off, FYI, CPU load is really a poor metric of performance unless you are exceeding 65-70%. System latency is not directly correlated to CPU utilization. Second, you are using a laptop, so you need to turn off the Wireless and Bluetooth transceivers, as they are incredible internal system
