I used that very same supply when I had my first 1500. I still have it and plan to use it again when I get my new 1500. I put the fuse in my power cord. You can pick up the stuff at your local cell phone...um I mean Radio Shack and it's about a ten minute job. Simple easy peace of mind IMO.
