I found that managing ALL audio devices so as to have the same sampling rate will avoid excessive DPCs. Having different sampling rates caused DPCs of greater than 2000 uSec on my computer. Simply setting the devices all (both playback and recording) to 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality) reduced
