RE: Q6600 Issue on current release and SVN
I have been trying to resolve an issue with the SDR software only running on
the 4th processor at 100%. The other 3 processors not seeing much if any
SDR activity and stay low in usage.. When I shut down the SDR, processor 4
then reverts back and runs

follow ups on a different page, getting rid of the clutter between the same
topics - AND at the same time make American highways safer?

of
the transceiver. I had to do this twice, but the image problem went away
and CPU usage stayed lower.

as I
suspected, but perhaps the FIREWIRE or other cabling.
The results were very positive for everybody - much fewer DPC failures on
receive and the audio issues cleared up for the most part. Still rough on
low peaks but a 90% improvement.

I don't really care for the fill panadapter option. It cheapens the radio
- makes it look like a YAESU or ICOM! I would love to see a peak hold
option for the panadapter signal peaks. A dot or line above the spike.

. Level of audio shows very little
difference.
I know someone out their has experienced this issue and has an answer of the
source of the problem.

good audio reports $89.00 at Tiger Direct!
Question, will profiles memorize all the VAC changes and then go back to
another profile for other VAC operations?

New firmware will balance but no bands will calibrate or image reject ,
Noticed the r2 test will also freeze up and not go to the next band
sometimes. R2 still shows what is in the band pass inverted and down 30K
and -5Db from primary in the band pass real screwie

I have also seen the duplication of the RX1 waterfall on the RX2 display in
this version. It's not a fresh repaint, but a copy of what is on RX1, even
if rx2 is on a different freq.

After bumbling through my XP-Pro books I can not find (again) how to fix a
program, from boot start up, and place it in one location on the screen
without having to move it there every time... I have multi-monitors but I
recall it worked for even single screens.
guys..Hmmm!

Try this. You will find that when you click the play button, it will jump
16Khz Low from center Frz. Click on that and it will jump 16Khz above the
center Frez Click on that it will come to the center... It's on page 234
of the manual.

is it that IE opens that can create DPC's.
You said device drivers. I think in terms of hardware - but wouldn't Flash,
Java and assorted other junk also have drivers that use DPCc's when IE calls
them up?
An can you direct those DPC's away from the same core that the SDR uses?

Time to change the CPU and Mother Board. I have both a SRD 1000 and 5000. I
run a lot of stuff in the background for biz (CS4-Dreamweaver, etc) and use
4 monitors. I have been eyeing the 6600 CPU's for $189.00 from Tiger
Direct. I would love to hear from others if this is the way to go and a
