I have just downloaded version 2.1.5 and CWX items are being transmitted highly
distorted on my SDR-1000. For instance, if I want to send "AI6A" it is sent as
"TE6A". In other words, the first couple of characters are sent as a long
"dah".
CWX items send just fine on v1.18.3 but not on v2.1.
I have recently had Flex convert my SDR-1000 microphone connector to the eight
pin version. My question is whether the microphone connector is now the Icom
or Yeasu pin configuration? I will need to know so that I can order the
correct adapter for my Kenwood microphones.

I need some help. A ham friend about 5 miles away called to say that he is
hearing what sounds like 60 Hz between my dits and dahs on CW. My SDR-1000 is
about 2 1/2 years old and I am running version 1.10.3 software. When I send a
canned CW message using the "CW Memories and Keyboard" menu th
I am able to transmit and receive BPSK-31 and RTTY and I can receive CW just
fine using MixW with my SDR-1000 but I am unable to send CW with MixW now that
I am using virtual com ports. MixW (version 2.12) keys the PTT line but there
is no CW or power output.
Here are my SDR-1000 settings:

What is the max Sampling Rate for the Delta-44 and the Edirol FA-66?
I am asking because I am currently using a Delta-44 running at a 48 KHz
sampling rate with gives me about a 20 KHz receiver bandwidth which is plus or
minus about a 10 KHz panadapter display from my center frequency. In the
ta-44 sound card.
My two questions are as follows:
What size power supply should I use, and
Who makes RF quiet power supplies?

III. The 1 G Pentium III normally runs about 80% to 100% CPU utilization.

When I operate CW at 20 WPM from MixW (predefined messages) I usually find that
the first "dit" or "dah" is partially or totally truncated. In other words, if

is MixW. MixW toggles my COM 1 serial port via the DTR line. That DTR line
toggles my external (Heathkit) keyer which toggles my SDR via the CW port on

Andrew - I am a beginning SDR-1000 user. I also used the "no antenna"
method to calibrate the noise floor. When things looked suspicious I
ordered and assembled the Elecraft XG-1 kit. Now the noise floor and
S-meter readings look reasonable.
