Hello, I have been reading and followinghere as others and haven't made a
comment here for a long time. I still own a Flex5000 and used toown a Flex3000
for mobile use. I bought the Flex5000 new when theyfirst came on the market.
Some reason or another I ended up in the secondwave of receiving
second antenna I can null out noise unlike
anything I have seen. Delightful indeed.
I'll keep my 5000 and the XP computer that I built to run it. I'll get a
6700 some day, and I likely continue to keep the 5K.

(sp) could do it, but it has gone away. If you have software that will

I dunno Steve. Doomsday seems like a pretty absolute thing to me. I don't
think we're in for a Doomsday Lite! QRM and QRN levels will drop pretty
drastically but your window of opportunity for some good DX will be pretty
small. And don't expect any QSLs!!

NIH (not invented here) complex andwas jut unable to test their changes. I
am still running XP (no reason to change), and I still apply only selected
updates once a year. The radio PC is only used for radio use and I don't
have problems.

Cool idea Mike, even though I only have a vertical, which is always pointed in
the right (or wrong) direction!
How about an option to read and average the wind direction off a wind vane
mounted on the tower and sever the tie to the internet? Just thinking out loud
here...
