Interested to see the post by N5BLZ. I have been having a similar problem, even from the first power on of the 5000A. I get a ridiculous reading of around 285C!!- looks like frying tonight. It all started with wild fluctuations in temperature readings, but now firmly stuck at this high value. I

Hi everyone, I support Ahti's comment 110% - the dB display is one of the most useful features of the radio. Besides the usual on-the-bench measurements it is ideal for setting up and tuning beam aerials. The colours on the display should be chosen to draw the eye to the most wanted
