I agree that the SDR1000 is very nice out of the box for AM. I used the FA-66
module and a reasonably priced condenser mike with the EQ in the SDR software
and got really great audio reports.
I have the Flex 5000A now. To get the same outstanding audio reports I had to
bypass the SDR
