Hello All
As an AM -er I want to add some external components to my Flex 3000. I want to
by pass the EQ. I will be adding an external EQ, and compressor limiter. Any
suggestions as to other external devices and which may be the better brands
for the Flex 3000
Thanks
Bill
Great Job on the EQ guys... The 3 bander is much more responsive then
before with excellent shelving points...A+ !
Also the COMPDR and COMP are hotter and the ALC less sensitive making
for a much better sound here on the old 1000 ..A++

Yeah Nice!
But as we are speaking of a new eq
2) In the 3-bander, it could be nice to add the freequencies as on the
10-bander.
(not just Low Mid High)
[Eric] Hover the mouse over the Low/Mid/High controls and it will give you
the frequencies that each slider covers.
[Stig] Does not happend here...? SVN 1412.
Btw. SVN 1412 does

Anyone know the low, mid, high for RX/TX? Pardon the newbie question...I did
RTFM. Are the values set in the .mdb file that can be edited?

Hi,
Low: 0-400 Hz
Mid: 400-1500 Hz
High: 1500-6000 Hz
Look for/at the tooltips ! I'm quite sure you can't
edit these values so easily and there is no need
to do that.

Hi gang.
I noticed that the earlier version had a multi-band EQ and not just a LO=
W-MED-HI. Is there anyway to bring it back or ad it to the ne consol?

Take care,Stan

Subject: [Flexradio] EQ suggested peaks
For a five band EQ I would suggest the following center frequencies
(with of course the 180hz notch option):
100 hz
300 hz
600 hz
1500 hz
3500 hz
Anyone
I vote for 5 channels of EQ rather than 3.
