Has any one checked the frequency stabilty of the
SDR1000. I need mine to stay accurate within a few hz specially for digital
modes such as Olivia.
I have had my SDR1000 running continuously for the
past few days, receiving WWV on 15mhz and the frequency is varying by plus
or minus up to 60hz.
This in a room in which the temp might vary no more
than plus or minus 10 degree C (say 18degree F ) from a nominal 20 C
(68F).
I cannot imagine WWV wandering that much, I
would expect maybe a hz or so due to ionosphere shifts, but not as much as I am
seeing.
Is this a computer problem or what??. The computer
by the way is an Athlon dual core 4200, using less than 10% to run the
software.
