It seems that the tx 'Noise Gate' is invoked durring receive. While receiving
I get a 10% increase in CPU
usage when the tx Noise Gate is on. With 192 KHz sampling I get 30% CPU with
the gate off and 40%
with it on. Any reason it can't be totally disabled on RX?

I have sdr1000 edirol at 192 winxp 3.2 machine, 1meg memory.
I tested my setup after reading your email and see no change in the cpu use.
my cpu use always fluctuates as I have many other programs running
Even changing from window to window causes a spike in cpu but it returns to
it's usual

I also see that kinda rise on NR and on ANF... I check it in the task
manager and see exactly what PWRSDR is doing...also...
the older versions are running half the cpu (without NR/ANF on)
compared to the SVN 1300s and above...fyi
