I know this is a basic question; but I am stumped. Any help would be

Yesterday I put up my 160m L . I had used this antenna before with good results.
When I hit the Tune button on Psdr, the psdr 7.2 crashed. I had to shut down
the radio (5K) wait and reloaded. I reoriented the L in
How far is the feedpoint from the shack? I would start with good chokes
at the feed point and another at the shack entrance or whatever antenna
switch ou are using. Do a google search for K9YC common mode choke. He
has done some excellent work on these.

Invest in some mix 31 chokes and add them at the antenna feed point, at the
radio and on the FireWire cable.

I did some tests with my vna and it confirmed that those chokes will do
First of all, Thank you to all who responded, it was great.
The good news is that it is up and tuning and hopefully will work some
good stuff.
This only goes to show how one thing can screw up your station.
I had disconnected everything and connected the L directly to the radio.
In doing so,
Granite cable is the best solution to RF back to the computer or into the
Flex.
Once I replaced my cheap 1394 cable with Granite all issues disappeared.
