Today, I downloaded the trial 4.14 version and also
changed the Flex settings to MME rather than WDM-KS and the VAC setting
to cable format

program I get errors that the VAC cable device cannot be opened. The VAC
control panel even shows the PCM / rate and connection between Power SDR

Could you not send VFO A audio on the Left Channel VFO B audio on the
right channel (more of a question than a statement) and then manage those
in VAC?
Again, that would take the some work in the VAC bridge.

I just restored a hard drive failure and lost everything. I now have

PowerSDR 2.4.4 includes a VAC Buffer Latency adjustment with a default value of
120 ms and, according to the install notes, a possibility of reducing this to 0
ms with a sufficiently fast computer.

I suspect that the checkbox in setup-Audio-VAC1 is set to automatically turn
onVAC for digital modes, which means it will not automatically turn on for SSB.
There are several ways to correct this:
1. Check the "Enable VAC" checkbox in the same window and VAC will always be on

The max number of VAC cable you can use on one PC for PowerSDR is 6.
FLEX-5000 +RX2 can use 4 cables.
You can run a FLEX-1500 at the same time for 2 more cables.

I have been running Power SDR 2.3.5 for over a week and all seemed fine.
However, I have been reading on the Reflector about VAC 4.11 and have wondered
if I should attempt to update to it. incidentally, I am using a Dell with Cor
Duo processor and running XP. I intend to keep on running XP as lo
LatencMon is reporting audio under-runs as is VAC control panel. I am
getting occasional audio distortion. Stopping PowerSDR and restarting
it cures the audio distortion
The reports are in the images at the URLs as is VAC configuration and
PowerSDR audio configuration.
