I am trying to get audio from Flex to HRD, and I believeI am close.
I alternately see bursts of color/audio in the waterfall and bands of black.
I'm guessing that two things that need to be synchronous are only managing that
sporadicly, or something far more simple?

Dave,
Did you follow the instructions on VAC from the Knowledge Center or from
the FlexRadioWiki.com pages?
You will need to purchase VAC, and be sure to get the 4.09 version
instead of the 4.10 version which is their current version..

However If I load PowerSDR 1.10.3 I can get transmit audio both with MIXW

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

Hi Neal , Ken
Thanks for answering. In the meantime I tried everything possible.
Reinstalled VAC 4.03
Then installed a new VAC 4.07 version. Reinstalled Powersdr V1.91.1 1357
new into a
subdirectory, creating new dbm files etc.
Now I am able to switch between Version 1310 and 1357.
Version 1310
Hi
Am using two PC's eAch controlling a SDR1000. In one system I am using a
Delta M44 card
at the other a PC a Audigy 4 (As Unsupported Soundcard)
On both I have installed VAC 4.03. Connecting MixW 2.18 to the SDR1000.
All worked great till Version 1310.
I had no problem at all, but after V1312
I find that sometimes (notably after MS decides to protect me even
further from the forces of evil) that VAC gets messed up in
unpredictable ways. I just uninstall, reboot and reinstall and
everything works fine. Not sure its the solution for you but I would
try it and see.

I have not heard back from Eugene just yet, but when I get
I hate it when this happens. I attempted an un-install of 3.12 in
preparation of installing 4.05. The un-install did not go well. 4.05
will not install. AND any attempt to re-install 3.12 also fails. The
error message says VAC is already present, so there apparently is a

Well, I have done all I know to do short of using regedit, which I
have done before. I guess I will have a look, but do not expect to
find anything pertaining to VAC there. Normally products using the
registry will show up in the ADD/REMOVE program utility in control
panel. I
Jim,
I had that problem with 4.05 too. The only solution is to contact
Eugene Muzychenko at:
http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.html
I did this and Eugene gave me a procedure for removing the old
version and reinstalling 4.05.

However, with VAC activated in PowerSDR, I have no Mic Audio on TX
If I de-select VAC in PowerSDR, then the Mic Audio on TX works fine
Can anyone offer any advise
Best regards

Hi Dave,
it is normal when the VAC channel is ON the MIC input if OFF.
This to prevent noise or your background voice captured from MIC over
the digital transmission.

I got the BSD with VAC disabled, VCOM not in use, etc. This is
something else that has crept into the effort. We will find it. If you
get a Blue Screen of Death, save the dump and when and IF requested,
Eric will get it from you.
