Is there a way to enable 100 Watts on 60M?
Over here we are not as restricted on 60M compared with USA regs.

The misprint is on the Ordering page and not on

No - no confusion here. The subject of the original post was 6M output
power. Apparently someone WAS confused and that's why the thread
started in the first place?

Floyd,
There is no difference in the power output of the SDR-1000 whether you order
it with the PA installed or add it later.
The power output on 160m, 80m/75m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, & 10m is
100W. The power output on 60m (5 MHz) is 50W. The power output on 6m (50
MHz) is 0.5W.
The
Please forgive a non-owner for asking for a clarification on this
question. I'm currently thinking about the SDR-1000 for use here in my
station and also saw the statement in the amp description about 50W out
on 6 meters. I'm not interested in the intricacies of just how things
are worded, b
Jeff,
There is nothing wrong with the statement, "The module upgrades existing
SDR-1000 transceivers to 100W on all HF bands (50W on 60 meters). "
The definition of HF is 3MHz to 30MHz. 6m is NOT an HF band, it is a VHF
band.

Specs of the rig says: 100 Watt PEP HF, 500mW 6m. Is this correct for
the version with the 100W PA - only 500 milliwatts on 6M?
I see that the

I see that the "accessory" PA module is rated at 100W on all HF bands
(50W on 60 meters). I presume this is the same PA module that comes
in the 100W version.
