The F5K has a more complicated tuning algorithm compared to the SDR-1000. It
uses one of the channels of the DDS as the signal source, and the radio goes
into full duplex mode. There are software routines that automatically tune the
radio so the radio is pretty much already best tuned. When

and peaked with my trusty? XG-1,always performed well. Anyway, when the 5000a
gets up and running all the peaking etc, is now done by the software/hardware,
