If this is a newby issue please advise - Is there a way to convert the 1.18
database so it is compatible with 1.18.1? If it matters I am running a 3K.

Not yet, but there will be. I am currently rewriting my SDRDataTransfer
utility to accommodate the new XML-based database. When complete, it will
allow you to transfer data in all 4 possible
