SGI is sponsoring a Hobbyist Competition at the 2002 SGI Global
Developer Conference. 

The 'IRIX Innovation Zone' competition is open to individuals developing
applications, games, tools, graphic libraries or other software for the
SGI IRIX platform. All entries will be shown at the 2002 SGI Global
Developer Conference. Attendees ofthe conference will vote to determine
the prize winners.

Each participant will receive a free pass to the 2002 SGI Global
Developer Conference in San Jose, California. 

*  GRAND PRIZE: a Silicon Graphics "next generation" high-performance,
   high-bandwidth IRIX workstation.  

*  SECOND PRIZE: a Silicon Graphics F180 Flat Panel Display.

Those wishing to enter are invited to submit a binary to SGI. Details,
submission guidelines and official rules are available on the web at
