A bit off topic but may be of interest. These people

provide photographic 3D views of the world (at various resolutions)
and it occurs to me that their positioning interface for the viewer
may be scriptable. In that case, one computer could run FGFS and
show the instrument panel on the monitor, while another computer
could run their viewer with the viewpoint slaved to FGFS.
Just a thought for those people who want photo scenery ...
