Hello Christian,
the problem with MSVC is that the .dsp file is not updated every time a file
is added to the project. There is a perl script at
http://cvs.flightgear.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/viewcvs.cgi/admin/am2dsp.pl
that translate automake stuff into a dsp. You can try it.
My choice was to fork

Did you compile all libraries (and fgfs.exe) with the same
run-time libs (LIBCMTD.LIB: /MTd compiler option)?

ACK. I've only one here, too, and that won't change any time soon.

I've spent a little time looking at the EPIC and FSUIPC stuff, but haven't

You might want to look into http://www.phidgets.com. He's building a 256

Its a bit pricey, but I am partial to EDAS, because it is Ethernet based.

I'm currently working on a gui to help users to start fgfs
with their own options (it parses prefernces.xml and show the
user the different options available). I started writing it

Windows, MacOSX, and every motif-Unices). If find

Hmm, this is going to get fiddly. I've got a generic route/flight-plan
backend sort of working (no flight traversal or waypoint sequencing as
of yet), which I am planning to extend with airways, SIDs, STARs and so
on (with editing of course). The long term plan was to build an FMC /

The AC3D model smoothing and transparency patches are now in the main
plib CVS (the transparency patch has been there for a while), so it
will no longer be necessary to run a patched version of plib to get
smooth aircraft models, as long as you are using the latest plib from
CVS.

Apparently, ATI have released (binary) Linux drivers for their FireGL

One valuable thing would be to define the 'input' property nodes the
auto-pilot code will have, so I know what I should be setting.
