Hey Folks,
Last weekend, I ran across a project on the internet called project AI:
http://www.projectai.com/ which aims at generating realistic AI traffic
paterns for Microsoft FlightSim 200[24]. Basically, the project aims at 1)

Hey Folks,
So, I was wondering if a project like this would be interesting for
FlightGear. I was already pleasantly surprised when I discovered AI
airplanes, at a local Dutch airport (EHGG) when demonstrating FlightGear to
a friend last week, so I assume that FlightGear can

The main annoyance I've seen so far is that there is a slight break in the

the main loop and the noaa site isn't spectacularly fast.
Wouldn't it make sense to put it into a separate thread -

It is supported for airports that have ATC (sorry no AI traffic at
EHLE). But indeed Eelde has ATC support and therefore can handle ATC
traffic at the moment.
Cool! Wasn't Lelystad supposed to get ATC real soon about two years ago? I

A shorter HTTP time-out

Would be nice. But this would IMHO belong into plib's netSocket.
We aren't doing the http connection ourselves, it's plib (via
SimGear).

A shorter HTTP time-out would be nice also. With a once a minute update
schedule we can easily lose one or two updates, but waiting up to 10
seconds before noticing the aircraft already hit the ground is sort of
annoying.
Yes, but that's

Hi,
I am trying to save images from flightgear to a file or database without
explicitly using the gui. For a test of current capability I am
calling fgDumpSnapShot every second but I am finding it produces saved
images that are completely white or contain corruption, yet other images are
