Just as a side note: If anyone compiles FlightGear with GCC-3.3 using the options "-march=athlon -O3" you are likely to trigger a compiler but .... errm, 'feature'. If you experience FlightGear missing to load FDM parameters, then you should reduce optimization to "-O1" and you're done,
