I fully agree that fg should stabilize out until then. But given that we should not touch that stuff until than ... Rendering multiplayer aircraft as AI aircraft is a feature I'm particularly interested in, and I've heard rumors of it being done, but I can't find any information on who if anyone is doing it. If nobody's working on it right now, I'd love to hack at it myself. (No guarantees of success ;) ) Also, I heard a rumor that the multiplayer code is being totally revamped (probably related, since you would need the velocity to properly render the AI craft).
