Where are these two versions of the win 32 binarys (and the associated

Be happy to mirror them on my site if that would be helpfull.

The links are in the Download page of the website.

 Curt,

I am just looking at the download page and see that the available windows binaries
 are only 0.9.1.

Norman and I both built the 0.9.2 version, either with mingw or msvc, and there were
 reports of success using them.

Do you plan to update the links ?

There were also some reports of problems initially. Have things
settled out? Which one should I post as the official binary?

Thanks,

Curt.

I only heard about one guy having a problem with Norm's build. None with mine, but I
have no idea about the number of people using it.

There was no urgency in my request. Just a notice if it was forgotten.
The file is there :
ftp://ftp.ihg.uni-duisburg.de/FlightGear/Win32/fgfs-win32-msvc-bin-0.9.2.zip

It has been reported that it works with the unix base package.

FWIW - I think my exe is working fine now also

It also has the threaded scenery pager enabled
which I don't believe Fred's does

But I could care less which exe is linked from the site

Lives here if any body wants it

Norman, I can add a link to the downloads page to your binary as an
 alternate.

Better not as I only have a 10 meg account and nothing is very
permanent as I am often needing space for other things

as advertised on my site
!! Warning anything here is only temporarily so !!

Thanks though

Ok, well just let me know when you get a T1 line to your boat. :-)

(I'll grab a local copy)

That's not as far fetched as you probably think, I spent some
of last weekend at sea looking at 20hz 1280x1024x16bit video
comming from an 'towed' under water camera at the end of a
6000 meter fiber :-)

I guess I am the fly in the ointment here.I reported problems with the sound
causing slow operation on Normans original build but when I used Freds build
the problem disappeared and the sim runs fine now.
As such I have not downloaded any later versions of Normans build.

[Flightgear-devel] Win32 binaries

2003-06-11 Thread Frederic BOUVIER
Hi,

Thanks to Martin Spott that dedicated a place for that, I have uploaded an
msvc win32 build of fgfs 0.9.2 here :

ftp://ftp.ihg.uni-duisburg.de/FlightGear/Win32/fgfs-win32-msvc-bin-0.9.2.zip

For line ending reasons, it must be used with the accompanied base
package :

ftp://ftp.ihg.uni-duisburg.de/FlightGear/Win32/fgfs-base-0.9.2.zip

Support request must, as usual, be directed to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
