I've just made a page and put the four parts of the two documents from
the freely available NASA/Boeing 747 report there. It's at

It is very similar to the documents that you still

I 100% agree with the way Jon has fixed this. Suggesting that there is
simpler way of doing it indicates a lack of understanding of the

Yes, of course. I didn't say the way it's fixed is bad, or that it
doesn't work. But as I never tried to code a FDM mys
What I don't understand about this issue: why even zero velocity? There
should never be zero velocity, since there is nearly always some wind,
It is a classic problem in flight simulation, and simplistically a lot
of the maths don't function very well at low/zero velocities. JSBSim

Note that I'm still not sure how this is going to work with carrier
landings. The zero velocity code may get bypassed, since a carrier is
normally not at zero speed. I can't remember if I accounted for that or not.
Probably an easy fix, anyhow.

I think the directory and file structure in FlightGear might be in
As has been mentioned, the new JSBSim code has/is being moved over to
FlightGear. It is JSBSim v0.9.10 code, using JSBSim config file
specification v2.0.
Until I get time to write some proper release notes, please see the most
