So it's a local problem (sort of). I removed the recently set environment variable OSG_FILE_PATH and the c172p is back to its normal state. The loader is trying to load something from the OpenSceneGraph-Data tree. looking... Indeed, there is a clock.osg in OpenSceneGraph-Data and a clock.ac in
