It now supports two capture methods. The plain old GL capturer, and
the new OSG Render-to-texture capturer, which should be more efficient
for some people/cards/drivers.
One thing I should have mentioned is the current

factory enabled with your simgear/flightgear, which leads to this.
Fixed it, and got rid of the warning too, please redownload the
patch and try again.

want to do that. And there isn't an API in netSocket to find out
whether the lookup failed or not.

Just upgraded my NVIDIA Linux driver to 9629 and I noticed this:

view is still broken.
If I comment our completely the ssgSetFOV call in
FGRenderer::setNearFar, then it will work for cockpit view as well, but
of course other things would be broken :)

latitude and longitude.
Currently they do not allow any non-web application use the google
map data/images. Not sure about google earth but i imagine similar terms
of use. And I think you can't capture or save the map images data by any
mean for other uses either.
