[Flightgear-devel] Downloads central -aircrafts
Hi Curt I started to solve some link issues in getstart (see merge request on gitorious/fg/gestart) I changed the link to aircraft download page to *http://www.flightgear.org/download/aircraft/ But this redirects to http://www.flightgear.org/download/aircraft-v2-4/ While choosing downloads-Download Aircraft points to http://www.flightgear.org/download/aircraft-v2-6/ I guess for the manual it is better to have a link without version in the URL, right? Hi Yves, Right now I'm not finding the mechanism that is redirecting downloads/aircraft - aircraft-2-4. I'll keep looking -- unless it is some automatic wordpress feature to return a similar page rather than a 404? Happens also with the gallery (about/gallery - about/gallery-2-0) so I suspect this must be some closest matching feature of wordpress? I may be able to force a link -- or can we just link to the main download portal in the manual and let the user click on the most recent link?
