It does seem to look like some sort of listener related problem.

My tests were made with OpenSuse 10.2 OS and the latest FG OSG compile -
I could not crosscheck to PLIB as I actually have no working PLIB
compilation.

I've replaced most of the listeners, at least all the high-frequency ones that
were being called every frame, with timers and also removed the noise-spike
filters that I was using to de-link the tied properties, so that I could set
the listeners and this seems to have cured the problem.

change several times per frame. In that case a

Hi all,
for some time now I've been experiencing a periodic stutter, or brief pause
(of about 0.5 second), in FG after it has been running for a few minutes or
so.
The period between pauses varies between 3 to 9 seconds but once it has
started to occur the rate doesn't seem to vary much. If

Hi,
this occured to me the first time when I changed over to Linux, never
had that on WinXP.
After some research I found that I have to change the video sync in my
NVIDIA X Server Settings. This reduces the frame rates (ie 115 to 85)
