Hi, fine - it seems a dream would come true - if it could be realized. Why not offer both schemes? One for those who used it as an alternative to MSFS and X-Plane and one more for science? HHS --- leee [EMAIL PROTECTED] schrieb: Yep -that's exactly the sort of thing I was referring to. The

I was very interested to see this come into cvs. With it, it should be possible to implement proper look-ahead terrain-following algorithms. If anyone's interested, I gave a lot of thought to this topic and there are a number of options that provide varying pros cons e.g. processing/sampling

Hi, Hmm... maybe it's too late and I'm too tired. Did I understand right? So maybe it would be possible to simulate a Panavia Tornado's Terrain Following system? Or a better ground follwing of AI-vehicules? HHS --- leee [EMAIL PROTECTED] schrieb: I was very interested to see this come into

Yep -that's exactly the sort of thing I was referring to. The Panavia Tornado uses a lookahead radar to evaluate the terrain and build an elevation profile, upon which it overlays a ski-toe curve flight envelope. The terrain avoidance system ensures the flight envelope avoids the terrain by
