1) Here's a patch to add some semblance of a transponder to the
Skylane (c182 and c182rg)

This increases the usefulness of the model as a procedures trainer.

2) I notice that xpdr.xml is presently not much more than a stub.
It does not implement any functionality:  no visible digits, no
clickable buttons, not even an on/off switch.

Internally it even calls itself an "ADF".

I looked, but could not find any aircraft in the FGFS fleet that
had operable transponders.

Is there anybody out there interested in upgrading the transponder
situation?
