This already _is_ the format as used by FlightGear - simply remove the
TaxiDraw 'header' (the first _four_ lines) from your airport file and
add it to your default apt.dat.gz
Someone recently wrote that you can use the uncompressed apt.dat with
FlightGear as well, which makes it easier to add modifications.

And, please, convince David Luff to add your update to his collection !
