A little dated but still very useful http://sources.redhat.com/autobook/ I usually just use the supplied docs though % info autoconf % info automake ___ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
Re: [Flightgear-devel] Autoconf, autoheader, automake, etc.
Actually There is a book from NewRiders "GNU Autoconf, Automake, and Libtool" By Gary V. Vaughn, et. al. www.newriders.com Before you rush out and buy it, the Linux Users Group of Davis had a presentation on autotools in March. Try www.lugod.org/presentations/autotools/presentation/autotools.pdf There is also a sibling file autotools.sxi which I think is for the Openoffice.org presentation app. I think this presentation is a much better starting point than the book. Jon ___ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel http://sources.redhat.com/autobook/ http://www.amath.washington.edu/~lf/tutorials/autoconf/ are two good ones that come to mind. The following are on-line versions of the manuals: http://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/manual/autoconf-2.57/html_chapter/autoconf.html http://www.gnu.org/software/automake/manual/html_node/index.html which are kind of definitive!
