The one is SimGear is (or rather) can be used for more than just reading 
RGB(A) files, at this time it can be used to render to a texture, modify 
a texture and save to RGB(A) format. It does not yet use the new 
RenderTexture class though.


I think it's useful to have our own texture class available.
