Your welcome Mate.
I think us Aussies were there 30 years before with far more apalling
loss of life.
Have just finished celebrating 90 years of the ANZAC's.
Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
Cheers

I respectfully bow at those people who made the liberation of our
neigbours' as well as our own country come true - especially at the
families of those soldiers who lost their life in their battle to
achieve this goal.

I hope this chapter of German history serves for a long time as a
reminder at where nations could get if they don't scrutinise the
intentions of their political leaders.

Cheers,
Martin.

Hi All,
Today we celibate the 60th anniversary of the liberation of our country
after WWII. It will be delighting to see the smiling old faces of the

In France we celebrate it last year
It took a long time, to get freedom for you
It was, back then the rumor of the allied forces liberating France
filled the people with joy. Only to discover it took a very harsh winter
with not enough food for everybody before the reached The Netherlands.
In fact, the most casualties where in these few months of th winter of 1944.

We can thank these old veterans
I just did, every time a vehicle transporting one or more veterans they
crowd started applauding. They sure seemed to enjoy their visit over her :-)

Happy day
Thanks, it was. Not only for me as I already pointed out.

It will also be an opportunity to see some preserved WWII aircraft, like
the B-25, B-17, P-51, Spitfire, Beech-18 and Harvard.

could take one, reduce it, and include in FlightGear.
:-D

I'm a member of my local RAF Association club - it really is an honor to
enjoy a drink with the members there. Sadly due to falling membership
they've just had to sell their club building, but have luckily found a
new home with the local Territorial Army unit. Many of the items that
were on the walls of the club have been given a new home (on loan) at my
Air Training Corps unit. People can't go on forever, but their memories
should.
