The Lat, lon menu doesn't seem to work. Click on it and no dialogue
box shows. Also the airport pick menu shows the airports, but picking
one does not change the location of the plane. The xml files are
present but they don't seem to affect the FG.

It should be there, just make sure you have the corresponding base
package installed.
Yep, F10 works for me under Windows with recent CVS.
