Find a snapshot of OpenAL that uses the 1.0 API (which we currently
support), rather than the newer, stabilising 1.1 (which we don't).

Thanks! That fix worked! But after that while compiling Flightgear,
I keep reading a glut error. Something to do with glut_init_window or
create window or something. I need some sleep. I'll bug you guys
about it later.
