The article says, among other thigns: Nice scenery night lighting with ground lighting concentrated in urban areas (based on real maps) and headlights visible on major highways. This allows for realistic night VFR flying with the ability to spot towns and cities and follow roads. I was unaware of highway headlights animation --- does it really exist in flightgear? I've seen it in MSFS98 once, at my MS-working friend's home... Hi all, Pigeon spotted a short FlightGear article in an Australian flying training school's newsletter. Before someone points it out, yes the link to the FlightGear web site is wrong and yes the link itself is broken. http://www.basair.com.au/slipstream The article doesn't mention that FlightGear is also available under windows. Anyway, It's a resaonable, if short read.
