We’re still in the process of discussing designs for it. You’re welcome to
leave feedback on the Issue if you have ideas you’d like to contribute. I know
a few GSoC applicants have looked at this issue over the last month or so,
which may be why it’s marked as in progress.

Was working on this issue when I realized the structure of the extension is
quite a bit more complicated than I had anticipated, I have since gathered
up the skills to begin working on the same. I would like to ask the
community mentors if I can begin working on this issue
