Got word this morning... He was a wonderful (and funny!) man. Unfortunately, he had a stroke in 96 that left him paralyzed on one side and was confined to a wheelchair ever since. I worked with him and Charlotte Moorman back in '82. The Guggenheim show in spring of 2000 was amazing. I posted

Official word thru the media: Nam June Paik MIAMI (AP) -- Nam June Paik, the avant-garde artist who was credited with being the inventor of video art, has died. He was 74. The Korean-born Paik died Sunday night of natural causes at his Miami apartment, according to his Web site. Song
