Re: FLUXLIST: macadamia & fluxus pie
so, for the past two weeks i've been on a pie/cake/cookie/donut binge. Saturday evening i'm at a friend's house and he's going through a list of pies in a cookbook, looking for something to make for his dad's birthday. i whip out my portable recorder and catch about a minute of him reading through all these different pies. then, today, i performed 30 minutes of ambient soundscape at the capitol building and at one point dropped in the recording of my friend listing pies. now i'm coming home to macademia & fluxus pie. if you knew me, you'd know that i'm in heaven. paul arnaud p.s. i read this fluxlist mail everyday but don't speak up very much. i guess i want to tell everyone that you're all maintaining a very interesting character in my imagination through your email address as it shows up in my email box. i just can't believe you're all real out there doing crazy and regular things. i wish we could all get together and drive volvos through the desert.
