Lockwood scrapes, breaks, scatters, drops, shards and sheets of glass to create some of the earliest experiments utilizing non-musical objects to produce sound. She has been known for the last 30 years for her sensitivity use of environmental and natural/found sounds that explore the music of the world around us.
