Dear RUUD, I answered your posting not to get a card but because I liked
your self-portrait on Crispin' new website. I don't do much mail art
anymore. I used to send leather objects but that is too expensive now as the
leather is split sheepskin and there is no local source. I started using
sheepskin in the late sixties to wrap objects. Ken Friedman saw some of them
at my house in South Dakota and liked them. He said,"Keep doing those." In
1991 my second wife, Gina, said it was "Supid" to do those. She died in 1993
but I have not done them since she died. But I do like your paintings. I
would like to have a card and will respond with some leather if you send me
