I've got a bit of a... query I guess... I'm quite interested in learning about how COLA works.
Is this a candidate interest for COLA itself? Is this one of the goals of the FONC group? To avail the learning of others? Or is only directed at children? As far as I can see, it'd be incredibly useful if at any point, whatever system FONC is building could be self-documenting to the point that anyone interested or curious could learn about things in them themselves. Am I correct that COLA is a boostrapping language whose aim is to allow other language "descriptions" to be plugged into it so that it can essentially run and translate code between itself and anything? Would it not therefore also be useful to have documentation in the process availing anyone who was sufficiently interested to learn any depth of the system they wished to learn to? I know there's a large amount of really useful and powerful knowledge locked away inside the brains of the people working on this project, and I'm interested in opening it out to some degree and learning from it. Hopefully the pedagogical efforts of whatever system(s) being built don't(/doesn't) only cater to children.
