ok, something among below packages updates changed rendering again, and now the
same font appear different. What does it?

All I'm saying is - eg. Nimbus mono font, renders quite differently on f27, see
f26 and compare.
Sure, it's subjective and you know... I think I've gotten used to new f27,
maybe it's not so bad after all.

This is highly subjective, of course. In any case, font rendering is largely
determined by freetype.
