Do you do multiple documents in one run? Or is it one run for each
document.
Did you try to set up the memory use for java:
java -mx256m blah blah?
this can also help, and allows you a bigger minimum/maximum heapsize...

my image is good printed but he doesn't print the letters correct (i mean
he doesn't print all the letters and numbers etc)
but my image (a gif signature) prints perfectly
so i was stunned bout that...

try to set the classes in the lib dir of your webapp in tomcat root dir.
because every jarfile that is in the lib dir should be found...
i know it's not much but i hope it helps...

that is the root dir for your servlet...
try it and reboot the tomcat server it should work then (this is how i do

if you work with java, you should let your applicationserver make a
temporarely file it self... then the minute you exit the servlet the file
will be deleted...

it's probably thick when you vieuw it with adobe acrobat reader...
when ya print it it will be the same size (normally)
the font you need to make an metrics file (xml) look into docs there
somewhere in subforlder will be a font.fo (read it)
then you'll know what to do

you must implement the fonts in your userconfigfile... after you made a
xmlfile off it (read the docs it's explained in there)
then you can add fonts in your xsl-fo

hmm i think that might have something to wo whith the setting off your
adobe check if it's set on the correct ps level for your printer
some documents come out great if its set wrongly but some bad...

maybe you want to give your java application more memory (allocation)
there is and code for that, but it slipped my mind, check the JDK1.3.1 for
that
and table-omit-footer-at-break=true might help...
make sure you have a fo:table-footer in your fo:table

How do you call FOP? java? commandline?
anyway what i see in java that is that Fop starts reading the userconfig
(if i implemented it) and then starts parsing...
so you should define your userconfig file first i think
