What is your logic for selecting the image to show? It may be possible to implement this logic using fo:marker/fo:retrieve-marker. What I meant more precisely is, how do you decide what barcode image is to go into the footer on a given page? Approach A: because it is page 17, you will use barcode017.jpg. Approach B: page 17 has information for product N55, and the barcode for product N55 is barcode_n55.jpg. In the first case you only have a brute-force solution: lots and lots of page-masters with different region-names for region-after, and lots and lots of fo:static-contents. In the second case you can use markers. Im try to print invoice. Its contain header and table with lines. If table contains lots of lines then is printed in more than one page. Each of page must contains Bar code with information about page number coded in binary digit For example page 1: I000I page 9: 0I00I 1 is coded as line, 0 is coded as space. I think that in my case appropriate is approachA. I work around and I create five different fonts and display any position in another font.
