We just started using it. Although it is a bit _ugly_ and the letter
spacing is a bit off, our pages are OK. As we get more into TXT output,
I'll let you know if I we see this.

of some kind,
have you tried
xsl:stylesheet
xsl:output method="text" indent="yes[or no]"/
...the
rest of the stylsheet...
/xsl:stylesheet?
You'd
have more control over the output.
