Could someone of developers review bug 43940 [1], and possibly apply
patches 1 and 2 to the trunk? Those paches will bring faster decimal
formatter, which is heavily used within FOP.
I also think that patches 3 and 4 should be transfered to bug 51150 [2],
and bug 43940 marked as resolved
